Russo hiked out with us west of Sublette, and I have always called that spot Russo's Cut. A lot of time has passed since those chases in the 60's, and I wish I remember the details better. There are a couple of trips I simply have no memory of, only the pix to show I did it. And like you when I sort through the pix I often realize things were not exactly as I "remember" them. But I think Jeff outsmarted us all and got the best picture, in those days I had no idea you could scramble in and get that kind of picture at Phantom curve. Hell, Gordon and I were lucky to find Sublette.
