Here are a few pics from the 168/425 A-O-A Turn, yesterday 08/24. A few notes. We were delayed at Bighorn Wye over an hour as the regular train had a hotbox and they had to set out the offending car at Lava. The restoration of the Heritage Cars is amazing. My inability to adjust to less than ideal lighting conditions is still an issue, as is getting the right spot in the photo line. Both engines looked and sounded great. Coach 256 rides pretty well at Warp Factor 8, as they hustled back to Antonito before some of crew expired. 4 of the 5 grandsons liked a couple videos I sent on the Family text line. The 5th is four months old, so he gets a pass. Thanks to the C&TS Crew and the Friends for a great trip.
1) I think this is around Whiplash
2) Bighorn Wye
3) I think this is Toltec Creek
4) 168/425 backing down to the loop at Osier
5) At Osier, 425 will run light to Antonito, I heard it picked up a water car and the bad ordered coach at Lava, 168 is now the road engine
To be continued....
