I remember driving that road two or three times in the early sixties, Hank -
Once in the middle of the night. A bit spooky, to say the least. The only time a road ever did serious damage to my car was about six years ago on the dead flat but very faint and rocky trail on top of the mesa that overlooks The Whiplash. I took my eye off the path for just a second or two trying to spot the flat-topped pine tree that marks the way to "my" rock, and
