Hey Lee - your comment on the color sent me off to look for some discussions on color. Seems while there may have been standards, that there were variations of the OD. Found one post where some guys are going back and forth showing instances of colors...both called out as OD and they are different. Probably just like paint colors on many things...mileage may vary
