I believe my KML map of the Silverton Railroads, including the Durango yard and the Silverton branch may be of use to you. The whole map isn't exactly circa 1960s but there are many things documented here that you would've seen before 1968 when the Durango yard was drastically changed, and some 60s exclusive features such as the Rio Grande Land Buildings. See: [www.google.com] or [ngdiscussion.net]

You could also look at some of the resources I used and I'm sure others would also recommend, the 1919 ICC Valuation Maps from the CRRM, and lots of Topo Maps were made of SW Colorado during that time which should be accessible online through a few different websites, here's what I typically use: [ngmdb.usgs.gov] (for this you need to move the slide bar on the top right of the website to 1970 or 1968, I'd do 1963 and click on the different maps available)

Hope this helps thumbs up
