Thanks to all those who responded to my questions concerning motive power on the Ouray Branch. The latter responses dealt with the K's. Does any one know of any dramatic changes these engines went thru and what year they may have occurred. As an example what year did #318 acquire #340's tender. Most photos indicate about late 1950 early 1951. Any imformation on storage and disposal of engines #315, #316 & #317. Have read that #317 was used in latter years for parts for #318. A Richardson photo shows #317 in good shape in Montrose in 1949. Was #317 used primarily as a helper out of Montrose, the only real action shots I have of it are by Otto Perry. The only action shots I have of #315 & #316 are also by Perry. All views of these two engines is on the Ouray Branch. Thanks to all those who responded.
