Or across its northwest corner, Brian -

My preferred route from L.A. to Chama since the early 1960's when highway 160 was completed past the Four Corners between 666 and 89 has been via Flagstaff through Tuba City, Kayenta and Teec Noos Pos to Cortez and Durango – right through the heart of the Navajo Nation.  With gas stops just east of the Colorado River, on the north side of Flagstaff, and just south of Cortez one could possibly avoid having to stop anywhere between the latter two towns, but with the first wave of the C-19 tsunami now reaching inland to Arizona and New Mexico I for one am unlikely to leave the relative safety of a still partially locked-down Ventura County for trip east anytime soon.  Per John Cole's recommendation I'll probably support the C&TS by buying a 2020 season pass, but I have no plans to put it to use this year.
