Continuing our hike:
After the spur for the 1928 logging camp the line meanders along the hillside and in places is encroached by trees and brush:
Here's a little stream that flowed into the right of way:
All of the culverts I found were corrugated pipe. There used to be a campground out this way so I'd guess the Forest Service upgraded the roadbed to maintain access to the campground. The grade was even paved at one point...
In some spots the forest gave way to more open & brushy ground:
About a mile into the hike the roadbed became wide enough for a siding:
In this area was a significant can dump:
This appears to be the site of an un-mapped logging camp.
The hillsides above and below the grade showed evidence of donkey engine sites.
