VERY good thinking, John - 
And whereas I got a nice surprise in the mail this evening in the form of an unexpected check from Trains magazine equal to about 2/3 of my monthly pension from the state for the time I spent running the computer lab at Ventura College, it eases my budget so I now have a bit extra from which to make donations to the C&TS, the Friends thereof, and two or three other organizations helping to restore and maintain our narrow-gauge steam railroad heritage.
