Perhaps I can give a shout out for our Preservation Fund. We have our first official work day in Como this Saturday, quite a bit of work has been done unofficially over the last month.

When the Depot was resorted we basically ran out of funds so had to sacrifice the platform to the North, last year with the increasing success of Railroad Day we actually had crowd issues on the platform, a nice problem and one I feel safe to say none of us ever anticipated, the solution is to complete the platform as originally envisaged.

We now have Volunteers with the relevant skill sets to be able to complete the platform for the cost of the materials. Work has already started, some initial grading, removal of 2 areas of concrete, we have the plans. The main cost is the wood, bids are being obtained and we should have a budget by the end of the week.
