Sorry, but the 04414 won't be making any rail journeys outside the Durango yard limits. Making the car operational wasn't part of this project. We did repair or replace the end sills, intermediate sills and main sills, among other work. So the structure of the car is sound. But the trucks lack wedges and brasses, and are in fact the wrong style for this car (they are from a 3000 series boxcar, not the earlier style from a 4000 series boxcar). These trucks are too big, so they foul the intermediate sills a bit. Thus some of the earlier damage. But the car makes an awesome display.

When we did boxcar 3132, it was/is basically ready for the road, other than an air brake test. But we did not use it other than to move it around the yard a bit.
