Please don't lump ME in with Joe's opinion.
I didn't denigrate your work ethic or application, nor the D&S, just the Oversized end lettering of the Cimarron Boxcar that was done in the D&S Shop.
I've seen that Cimarron display in person several times over the years and was justifiably wary of the outcome based on the #3132.
According to Jerry Day that was what was wanted by the NPS. Apparently no-one corrected the Govt. error. Jerry Day was fine with it, Will Gant backed him in his assessment of that situation, which is understandable, Will works for History Colorado (either directly or indirectly) and they don't give a tinker's toss about rewriting things to suit the moment: it's all about the $ eh.
I haven't forgotten the Colorado Historical Society history of graft and corruption leading to them being renamed History Colorado.
As for the Outfit car's step issue, well if it is something that the NPS wanted, they (in my opinion), should use a Stepbox alongside not change the Historic nature of the vehicle for H&S.
If you fellows, i.e. the Readers and Posters on here, are fine with messing things up for the sake of a good picture then so be it....but don't expect me to turn and look the otherway.
