This is a Google Earth image of what is locally knowns as Breen Lake, about 1/2mile NNE from Crofton Lake. You have to roll back to 2004 in Google Earth. This is the highest point of the track between tidewater (Crofton) and the Esquimalt-Nanaimo RR. You can still the outline of the trestle that was built over the swampy area (it's been flooded more recently thanks to beavers).
