The Russian Railways has a goal of restoring 142 steam locomotives of 22 different classes. Some are narrow gauge (700mm) for use on the Children's Railways. They have also operate a steam powered suburban train with steam on Saturdays It is a 212km round trip for $8.65. There are three shops overhauling steam. Each has an 0-6-0T shop goat.
