Yeah I did notice those structures. As for Huayna Pichu I did hike it as well as well as hiked down to the river on a trail that took us to a cave with some dwellings within. Very amazing spot and I was happy we took that hike (though it did tack on another 10 miles to the normal hike as well as 1,500 feet of vertical).
