The train departing from Ollantaytambo; the city we had driven to to be able to take the train from. This city was very cool and was built completely on top of old Incan ruins. The train has multiple points where it is built on ancient terraces and you feel like you are in an amusement park. You can see an example of the retaining walls that made the Incans famous here:

We passed under many massive mountains as well.

The coach cars were very nice and the top observation windows made for easy viewing of the scenery above. The mountains made us feel like ants as we were in a 6000foot high valley surrounded by 16000 foot mountains. You can see the top of the coach cars here taken in Aguas Calientes.

I was amazed how even with freight equipment or public structures there was absolutely no graffiti. Everything was very clean and taken cared for. PART 2
