I do have a question, and I do mean this in as respectful a manner as is possible... I really appreciate all the hard work you guys are doing and how amazing your progress has been in just a few short years.
My question is about Track 10. That "jog" in the track roughly aligned with the end of rails on Track 9... What's the story there? I know you guys are being extremely methodical about relaying directly on the old roadbed. Was there a reason for the DSP&P/DL&G/C&S to have a jog in the track like that? At yard speeds it probably doesn't make any difference to the running experience but still...I'm curious.
And please don't take my question as criticism; it's not intended that way at all. Again, I want to offer my deepest thanks for your Herculean efforts to restore and preserve this critical piece of Colorado narrow gauge history!
