It is found today at Kiperts Korner Feed (Kips Garage Museum) near Olympia. There is a replica D&RGW caboose (about 4/5 scale, discussed on NGDF sometime ago) and other equipment also on display there.

I think the Shay was actually shipped up north to restore it for use on a restored operation of the Westside Lumber (using old Westside and Cherry Valley facilities). That sad story from the late 1990s/early 2000s is probably what fizzled the steam-up effort.
