At the top of the pass I got off the locomotive and rode in the train to Osier where we had lunch and met
the west bound train.
After lunch Earl offered to let me ride into the cab again as far as the water stop at
Sublette. Here we are about to enter Mud Tunnel.
It was raining when we arrived at Sublett. Earl suggested it would be more pleasant to stay in the cab than walk
through the rain back to my coach so I rode in the cab the rest of the trip. At Antonito Earl gave me quick tour of
the yard and showed me an engine that they hoped to restore sometime in the future - #463.
