Of course, I based upon the inspiration; though some things I haven't changed, the proper Class 48 itself will have pin & link, and Im thinking about some sort of retrofit for knuckles on the modernized version.
As for the tractive effort, I'd Gauge somewhere around 10,000lbs T.E. but I could be wrong, haven't found the detailed for this year (1877/8?) from Baldwin, but I have the catalog page for the Baldwin 6-22D for 1875 and 1881.
