Of course I wasn't there, I was only a 12yr old kid at that time but your precious 483 was out of smoke by the time I had been and done 6 months as a Fireman in '77. But I did get to Chama in '82....

And

483 has never blown smoke since BUT it could have been running up the Animas right now if it hadn't have been ki-boshed by several of your same sounding off.

And

483 hasn't had any more done to it since the last chest-thumping outcry, re-united with its Tender yet?.

And

are you raising money to contract Wasatch Rail Contractors to complete the restoration for display?
