Re: 168 Restoration timetable and funding

Thanks for your interest in the project! 168 remains on time and on budget for completion during 2019, although I certainly would not want to put a date on it. The historic wooden car project and 168 do not use the same crew so work is concurrent. 168 is about 70 percent funded, so more funds are of great help to us to see the project to completion. As others have said, this project is a worthy recipient as the team has a proven track record, the institution is committed to the ongoing sustainability of the artifact, and operation is a given once complete.
