There are a lot of engine restorations around the country, and some are restored with only marginal hopes of getting a line to run on. So, I suggest folks might throw some money toward the 168 project cause at least when its done, we know it has a place to operate.

Speaking of that, I see where NS is not going to allow excursions with 611 on their trackage this year. They will at least allow it to move to get somewhere else if they have something lined up. Take nothing for granted!!!! See and ride them when you can.
