Solar power to run a pump that would have to overcome about 30' of head and about 200' of hose to get from the tank car on Lava loop to the water tank would require a fairly big motor and that means amperage. Either you have to cover the back side of Lava tank and roof with solar panels, or accept a pretty small amount of water flowing. To me that would take almost as long as filling a swimming pool by peeing in it.
If we can get the Lava water tank line working again, it is possible to fill the 12,000 tank in about an hour or so, and how many times a year would that be used?
