We used the 1918 ICC map of Como and old photos to determine where the car body should sit. The tool shed boxcars and the remains of the stone garage served as landmarks as well.

The car body is actually resting on rr tie crib "foundations" so it is about a foot off the ground. Como's relativley dry climate, lack of humidity and elevation keeps rot and insect infestations at bay, so the car will survive quite well.
