I agree with you Kevin timeless and period are often used incorrectly as adjectives and are hard to replicate anyways for us photographers.
Even this shot is difficult to label "timeless" because we all know that its at the Strasburg Rail Road and we know who that hostler is
, but nonetheless it is, in my opinion, period.
