Since I'm an East Coaster, I'll nominate as my favorite, EBT No. 17. The photo was taken on October 15, 2001. Tom Holder has her performing perfectly headed out of Orbisonia for Mt. Union. We had to stop a little short, but maybe someday.
My first love is the EBT, but like John, I do have a soft spot for the K-28's. Here is my favorite, No. 478, rolling out of the fog south of Hermosa, CO on February 12, 2007. Another Silverton Mixed, Dave and Jean Gross charter. Unfortunately, 478 failed at Hermosa on this trip. A problem with the drafting gear in the smokebox.
