I didn't see that! Also, both pictures show log bridges, which are common on Logging lines but the first time I have seen them in Sumpter territory. Too note the 'Canadian style' slab ties on pages 122-123, only the top and bottom are sawn flat.
I have been thinking about my track plan for a 'mountain town' on my layout and think Curry might be a better prototype, found a nice sketch of the town (attached) on this website:
Curry- Stoddard's Company Town
Though I don't have an exact map, there are quite s few pictures. If I eliminate the wye and use a turntable instead, I think I could get the basics to fit in one section.
I wonder if there were ever any aerial photos between the'30's and the '60's, when the reservoir was put in...
