I appreciate the guys helping me out on info for some of the old films we have collected. A month or so ago Jimmy B. found a July date for me, which was 497's first run for 1967. We have some film of that day out of Alamosa and the next out of Chama, shot by list member Fritz Klinke. Fritz was a very capable movie shooter, but we only got about 200 feet of 16mm. It is very good quality. I just wish he would have done more movie shooting back then. I think he told me he only shot 3 reels of film, and one is still out there missing someplace. Would love to pay for another film transfer if you find it Fritz!!!
