Kevin,

You brought back a fond memory when you mentioned using beta to stop. The Brasilia turboprops I flew years ago for Comair would stop so fast when they were placed in beta and brakes used, it almost felt like a carrier arrested landing. The props were 10 feet in diameter and with two there was a lot of beta effect. In normal operations, we seldom used all the stopping power available since it wasn't comfortable for the passengers. Hard to believe it's been 20 years since I flew a Brasilia.
