1) If you think a Mecury Montery was an SUV, actually I don't know how to finish this sentence!
FYI a Montery was a 2-ton sedan (4 doors) with soft suspension, low ground clearance (about 5-6") about 12' wide and 25' long(well it felt that big when I was learning to drive in it!) Design function was to roll down the Interstate at about 80 mph.
2) Threads drift. That's just the way the 'net is. It's the way it has been for the whole 30+ years I've been on it.
Please note that I, and Russo before me, did change the subject line which is all that is required by netiquette unless you're on one of those fussy professional groups.

3) Aid in the repair? Not sure repair is possible. Rebuilding probably is but a corps of skilled masons willing to work at that elevation will be hard to find and will doubtless charge a very high rate for their time. Probably not gonna happen.
