Also it appear to have a short smokebox. 40 kept it's stack and sand dome through the recovery process. The left side of the cab was the most heavily damaged, and that is the only side still intact in the other pic. I don't think it was the 40. The RGS had lots of wrecks that tore little engines up. Runaways, collapsed trestles etc. Whatever it was took out the headlight, stack, sand dome and steam dome cover.
