To me Sublette would have the most of what you need, other than electricity there is water, you could have a sewer connection like at a camp ground, and there are places at or near Sublette where your cell phone will work. (Works great if you are on the roof, and if you walk up the hill just above Sublette, you are almost guaranteed reception). If you set up a camper/car with LED lightining you would only need to run a generator for an hour or so every other day to recharge the battery. Other than a propane tank for the stove and water heater you would be good to go. That and getting to watch the train pass twice a day you would only have an occasional track crew movement, it is REALLY QUIET THERE. We stuck a hose in the water cysteren and ran it to track side for our concrete work so that wouldn't be a problem.
I cannot imagine a more authentic experience of what life along the railroad was like.
