There are actually two alternative sites that sprung from this one, the Goat and Frad's Place.
Frad's still serves very well in the capacity you outlined. Jay's been working hard to clean up the Goat.
If anyone else wants to take a whack at it, go for it, but I have no time or inclination to go visiting other sites.
This one is still by far the easiest place for me to find out if anything is going on, and someone, often Jay or Roger, will post helpful links to follow for more detail or photos. Besides, I like the historical aspects of this site, and the contributions of current and former D&RGW, C&TS and D&S employees. There are also great contributions from writers, researchers, and history buffs here, and I would be remiss not to point out additional contributions to this site from the Sumter Valley, EBT, and other living history venues around the country and world.
