It would be a real shame if this did not sell out.

I think the problem is that there are at least seven other steam charters and special excursions happening on the same (Oct 3-4) weekend:

1 and 2. The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum has Southern #630 running a trip to Summerville, Georgia and Southern #4501 running on Norfolk Southern 21st Century excursions from Atlanta to Toccoa.

3. The Durbin & Greenbrier Valley has a photo freight behind Moore & Keppel Climax No. 3,

4. Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad is running McCloud 2-6-2 #2 from Garibaldi to end of track at Salmonberry.

5. The B&O Railroad Museum is holding their "Civil War Steam Days Weekend", running both 1950 Saddle Tank #4 St. Elizabeth and the 1927 4-2-0 #13 Lafayette.

6. The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad has NKP #765 on "Steam in the Valley" excursions,

7. The Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad is running ATSF 4-6-2 #3415.
