Remember, even if you have paid for a chasing pass, you are not contributing anywhere near as much as the people who are riding on the train. Bottom line, respect the riders. They are the ones that are paying to make it happen.
That means staying out of any possible shots they may want to take at runby locations. If you can see them, they can see you.
You shouldn't join the photo line at a runby location unless there is clearly sufficient room and the runby coordinator is OK with it.
Also, make sure your vehicles are not visible in the background during photo runbys. Nothing wrecks a shot more than light reflecting off a windshield or a vehicle showing in the background.
Don't kick up dust with fast driving to get ahead of the train. It can spoil shots as well.
Carpooling is a great idea. It cuts down on the number of vehicles that might get in the way and you have help if you get stuck!
