Hmmm, that is strange to see the BM&L listed as an 0-6-0T. I'm sure Mr. Ferrell did his research, but it does make me wonder.
Though I do know that their proposed replacement locomotive was to be an 0-6-0T.

As for it being described as a "dummy" similar to the Austin City Ry's "Mule's Relief" is something I hadn't considered. And in retrospect I reckon it makes a little more sense if the John D Hall was a 2-4-0T.
