Here's a shot of a working out of Waterval Boven in 1981. This is outbound from WB and the locomotives were turned for the return trip. Note the two water bottles each. It was hard to find a place with a long enough stretch of track to get the whole affair in one frame. We did see Garratt's working both chimney and tank first, but frequently they went out one way and returned the reverse. It really depended on available turning facilities.
