ISTR reading an account of a K-28 running out of Durango and having trouble switching on the RGS due to the very light rail still in place on the RGS's sidings at that late date. There are copies of orders regarding the ex-F&CC 4-6-0s having trouble with some sidings due to their weight, so it would stand to reason that the K-28s would also have problems with the same track. Whatever the case, the K-28s didn't run regularly, if much at all, on the RGS. -- Ed
