Also, check out the museum at Laws, just outside of Bishop. (Have not seen this posted. If it is, sorry...)
They have number 9 several boxcars, armstrong turntable, water and fuel oil tanks, station and other interesting exhibits. Last time I was there it was a donation only type situation....
Pretty nice place.
Also, about Independence, isn't that where number 18 is in the park? The station is still there east of town, private residence now...
I used to go up there about once every three months or so....
