Surviving SPNG cars?

Can anybody confirm/deny the existence of any of the cars metnioned as bodies in the desert in the end of Ferrell's book, especially the stuff at Keeler. This summer I am planning an excursion out to the Mojave desert in search of whatever I can find and any leads would be appreciated.
Here's what I know has changed as of of right now:
Combine 24-now at NSRM
Esmeralda-at OERM
Combine 16-Society for preservation of Carter resources
Boxcar 443-same as above
I have heard that caboose-coach 2 was someone in Orange county, and that a second and possibly third "Tin-Box had been found.
