Gavin,
Which Railways of the Andes? There is Brian Fawcetts book and then there is the Book published by Pruett about 15 years ago?
The Beyer Peacock is on the standard gauge and is now serviceable. It is a 2-8-0 #206, I think built 1937? The H&H has two unserviceable steam locomotives in Huancayo. They are Baldwin 2-6-0 # 112 ( may not be the original number) and 2-8-0 #107 a Hunslet. The later is in the best condition and kept at the shop unserviceable. The painted green 2-6-0 is on display at the FCC station in Huancayo on dual gauge track.
