Dave thanks for the documentation on the operation of the pilot flangers. One question I have is the 470's had a much different style of flanger indicator which was more substantial than what the 480's had. On the 470's how did the engineer know by looking at the indicator the flanger was down--would it be raised up? It's also interesting that from my knowledge the 490's never had any type of indicator or at least I've never seen any pictures on one having one.
