Yes, that would be nice, sombody reading this board might just have the dates wanted in "Official Railway Equipment Register". It was a farely vomlumus book, from what I can tell, correct me if I'm wrong, but it was published monthly, and contained information on every railroad in the country, cars and locomotives - specializing on the cars. If you have any access to one, be it in your personal library, or at the local depository, please feel free to look up "Uintah Railway" and tell us what you've found. RA RA RA !!!
I have the following months represented in my collection ( photo copies of Uintah railway page, only) - I think I remeber getting these from the California State RR Museum, - but that was ten years ago+ not sure.

August 1909 shows only - "9 locomotive, 45 cars"
July 1911 page is "from January 1911" - "9 locomtives & 56 cars"
Also - Shay #3 was in a horrific accident on Febuary 10th, 1909 "It rolled over & over many times and when it stopped there was nothing left but scrap iron" - was how it was reported in a local paper as per Bender's book. I would have every one look at page 124 of my second book, Uintah Railway - Volume II , pg. 124 & see if that is indeed the remains of a Shay in the forground - I have always assumed that it was. Also the hulk of iron in the far background look to be the frame? Maybe this was not on the "books" late in 1910. possibly still being reported to Poors in mid 1909, but definetly in need of a complete rebuild in 1910 - setting in pieces in the Atchee yards?
Thanks all.
Also - I got a photocopy of the Sep. 1920 ORER for the D&RG somehow when I ordered this stuff if anybody wants to "see" about anything for that road.
