My Post and date of 6/30/1912 was correct for 11 engines per Poor's and ICC. The only count I have for 6/30/1911 is Poor's at 9 engines. The puzzle here is Poor's for 6/30/1910 was 8 engines when they reported 9 engines in middle of 1909. Something left the roster to reduce the count. Maybe a year when no #11 was counted.
We need another source of engine count for 1909-1912 to compare and the only possible sorce I know of possibly is the Official Railway Equipment Register at Colorado Railroad Museum if they even have that time period. The only CD I can buy of scan of Register jumps from 6/1905 to 10/1919 so that will not help. CAN ANYONE LOOK INTO THEIR COPY IF THEY HAVE THAT TIME FRAME?
