Friends Volunteers

The Friends work sessions are really amazing. Last week and this volunteers have been working on the passengers cars both in Chama and Antonito. These guys and gals really work, and the productivity is amazing. Part of the secret is their passion for this railroad. But a lot of the credit also goes to the project committee who plans, organizes and prepares, so that when people show up there are specific tasks assigned, leadership, tools and materials, all in place and ready to go. But it is also fun. Another shameless plug, but if you're interested in the C&TS, give it a try. It's habit forming and most volunteers come back again and again.
