Not only is there the challenge of keeping the public interested, we have the challenge of keeping volunteers and supporters interested. Take a look at most railroad clubs, and volunteer support organizations related to museums and tourist lines. What's the demographic? What do we do to make sure the teenagers and twenty-something's are there to replace us in coming years? I'm in my late twenties, but I don't see anyone younger or even my age behind me. There will always be little boys who love trains, but what can we do to keep the "Thomas" generation interested for life?
