Re: The short trip clinker

Having not been to C&TS yet, I not sure if this is workable, but how about this. You run an extra train from Chama during the day and an evening train from Antonito. The evening train from Antonito would leave about 4:00 in the afternoon and go to Osier where an elegant dinner would be served along with a Live Band. After dinner the train would return to Antonito. Obviously, this couldn't happen this year, but how about next? I believe i recall someone saying that the trip from Antonito to Osier could be substantually shortened once the track was upgraded. How long would it take to go from Antonito to Osier if the track was in better condition? Are the facilities at Osier capable of preparing an elegant dinner? Is there room to set up a dance floor? If the answer is yes, why not give it a try.
