If the line is sold to Shank's foundation, UP won't be providing any help since the rails will remain in place. If in the future, the Shank venture fails and the RR is to be dismantled, I suspect that some scrap dealer will bid on it since the foundation will need all the cash it can get to payoff debts. Maybe the RGRPC needs to become friendly with some scrap dealers!!
