The Henry Ford Museum is a very "good" museum; all their valuable stuff is undercover. From the viewpoint of their marketing staff, their most interesting railroad artifact is the 1941 Lima 2-6-6-6. From my viewpoint, their most interesting artifact is the 1858 Rogers 4-4-0, which was named the "President" in 1929, after its last use was to pull a train carrying President Hoover to the opening of the museum. I have been to the museum at least 6 times. I take at least 1 picture of the "President" every time I am there. Perhaps I am too picky, but I have never taken a picture I am satisfied with. Indoors, lighting is often inadequate and uneven, and aisles are too narrow to get a good angle for photography ( these days I have a 19mm lens which gives the equivalence of 24mm on my digital camera. We have kind of promised to take our daughter to the museum on our way home from her college commencement this spring; I guess I could try to use the 19mm lens on my old film camera then (assuming I can find film and batteries for it). In any case, this illustrates my issues with indoor display.
Come to think of it, I also have a mediocre picture of the "General", and a totally poor picture of the "Silver Dome" for similar reasons,
